Snow Guard Placement
 This
image shows the the typical snow guard placement on a standing seam
metal roof. The first row is approximately 15" from the eave,
the second and third are each 15" above the preceding row. For
extra protection in climates with severe snowfall, three rows may be
placed at the top of the roof slope, starting 15" below the
